Our History

1983

  • December 7, 1983:  First meeting held for Midway Baptist Church at Camp Helen – Baptist Camp for Limestone County Baptist Association.

 

1984

  • July 22, 1984:  Groundbreaking for first sanctuary which currently serves as Administration Building and Sunday School Class Rooms.

1985

  • February 10, 1985:  First worship service held in new building.

1990

 

  • August 26, 1990: Church voted to build a new sanctuary

 

1991

  • June 9, 1991: New Sanctuary was completed and dedicated

 

2005

  • June 5, 2005: Dedication of new Family Life Center
